What is DataWiz?

DataWiz is Peopletree Group's workforce analytics platform. It is built on Tableau and powered by DataHub, which means reports are available from day one without any build time.

What kinds of reports does DataWiz produce?

DataWiz produces reports across four analytical levels: descriptive (what happened), diagnostic (why it happened), predictive (what will happen), and prescriptive (what you should do). The 60+ modules cover talent assessment, performance management, succession readiness, engagement, learning and development ROI, and workforce composition. Reports are available as dashboards, exportable visuals, and narrative summaries for both HR teams and executive audiences.

How does DataWiz differ from standard HRIS reporting?

Standard HRIS reporting shows operational data - headcount, turnover, absenteeism. DataWiz goes further by analysing behavioural and performance data to surface patterns and predictions. It answers strategic questions: which roles carry the highest succession risk, which teams have the lowest capability readiness, where development investment will have the greatest impact. These are questions your HRIS cannot answer.

Does DataWiz require a data science team to use?

No. DataWiz is designed for HR practitioners and business leaders, not data scientists. Reports are pre-built and automatically populated from the DataHub data layer. HR teams can access, filter, and share insights without writing queries or building models. The Peopletree team handles all configuration and maintenance.

What data does DataWiz need to produce meaningful insights?

DataWiz draws from the DataHub data layer, which consolidates assessment results, performance ratings, succession records, engagement scores, and learning completions. The more data sources connected to DataHub, the richer the analytics. Most organisations start with assessment and performance data and add additional sources over time. DataWiz is designed to be useful from the first data load, not only once all sources are connected.

Can we customise the dashboards?

Yes. DataWiz is built on Tableau, which means the full Tableau customisation capability is available. The 60+ pre-built modules are ready to use from day one, and your team can extend or modify them using standard Tableau tools. Peopletree can also build custom modules for specific business questions that fall outside the standard library.

How long does it take to get DataWiz live?

Once DataHub is configured and receiving data, DataWiz can be activated within one week. The pre-built dashboards populate automatically from the DataHub data layer - there is no additional build time. For organisations deploying DataWiz as part of a full TMaaS engagement, it is typically live in the third or fourth week of the six to eight week implementation window.
